Describe your life in an alternate universe.

I groan at my parents from an electronic wheelchair as spit dribbles down my chin. I never moved out. I never went to college, and so I had no chance at becoming independent. I live at home for the rest of my life.

In an alternate universe, I was not as motivated to recover from my 2011 car accident. I took a passive route to recovery, and I did not fight for my life every waking moment of my three months in the hospital. Afterwords, in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, I did the bare minimum. As a result, I did not recover as well as I could have from my severe traumatic brain injury.
