What notable things happened today?
Today, Biden and Zelensky signed a 10-year “security pact” (BBC 2024). United States-Ukraine bilateral agreement states that, if an armed attack occurs against Ukraine, the US and Ukraine will discuss a response within 24-hours. This assures the US will continue to support Ukraine in training, planning, and cybersecurity efforts.
This is another significant sign of the US’s strong support for Ukraine. This should be deeply concerning to Putin, who has appeared unfazed by the United States’s longstanding support for Ukraine.
