The oldest thing in my closet that I still wear sometimes is probably a pair of soccer pants my parents bought me in eighth grade. They are very worn and filled with holes, but they are full of memories from when I played recreational soccer with my best friends.

I was easily the worst player on the team. Athletics just were not my thing. But, I made friendships that have lasted for my entire life from then until now, and I am almost 30. I remember multiple parents noting what a good group of girls we were, particularly in that we got along so well.
