Dear Madeline,

Hi. Are you even alive? Maybe. Anyway, this is you from when you were still in your twenties. How are you? Do you regret your decision not to have children? Please don’t. The world is a better place because of you.

What was your best decade? I hope your twenties are not your best decade, but they might be. I did a lot of drugs in my twenties, particularly psychedelics. I hope you carried everything you learned in your twenties with you throughout the rest of your life.

As a reminder, keep your mind open. The future is unknown. Embrace the uncertainty.
