I was a teenager, and my family drove to Colorado. It was spectacular. Driving between jagged edges of mountains and peering down into the valleys below was unforgettable. We hiked numerous times, and swam in warm springs in the mountains. When we were staying on a mountain at the resort by the hot spring, I remember seeing a lightning storm on a nearby mountain. It was very cool. I remember getting up close and personal with the mountain goats, and I remember beautiful aqua-colored water in streams flowing out of the mountains. It was a marvelous adventure, and I would like to return some day.
