Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?
When I was a teenager and younger adult, I spent a lot of time thinking about my past. Within the past year, I have grown tremendously, and now spend a great deal more time thinking about the future.
This is largely due to a major change in my circumstances. In less than 1 year, I went from living with my parents to living with roommates to living in an apartment with my boyfriend, where I live now. As far as I’m concerned, I’m living my best life at the moment. I only work two to three days a week, and spend the rest of my time exercising, playing my favorite computer game, and smoking as much marijuana as I want. My future looks bright, and I can’t wait to discover what it holds.
In the next year, I hope to keep and excel in my job and work the maximum amount of hours that I can on a regular basis. I hope to continue to exercise enough to feel great all the time, which, honestly, is not difficult. I hope to improve my discipline, which will aid me in a big way on days when I do not feel like getting out of bed.
