Kathleen

Describe a family member.

My mother’s name is, and has always been, Kathleen McGillis. She is married to my father, Jon Drayna. Kathleen graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1985. She became a reporter for the Green Bay Press Gazette, where she met my father. She did not, and still has not, changed her name when she married him.

Kathy is tenacious. She has worked very hard for all of her life. After she was a reporter, she raised 3 children, and then started working again full time as a communications director. I have a lot of respect for my mother.
