When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
When I think of the word “successful,” the first person who comes to mind is Marie Sklodowska Curie (1867-1934). She was a Polish-French physicist and chemist. She was successful because she discovered two elements, polonium and radium, during a time when it was difficult for women to achieve much of anything. I remember reading a short version of her biography as a small child and being inspired.
