American mothers are dying, overwhelmingly, from lack of prenatal care in the first 64 days after they undergo the violence of childbirth. The government is like, okay, this will continue to happen without government intervention. Unlike so many things, namely Covid, during which they wasted no time dispersing prevention essentials for free.
My partner of over 6 months loves America. They have patriotic things around their house. Not many but multiple. It bothers me, but what can I say? “Redecorate your house because of my values?”
I don’t want to talk about it with them because I know I’m not going to convince them to change their views, and so what is there to say?
