“Gesundheit” is hands down the best, most polite thing to say when somebody sneezes. It’s German for “health,” and it doesn’t use with any religious propaganda, unlike it’s synonym, “Bless you.” “Ahchoo” is another good word to use when someone sneezes, but it reminds one of a locomotive, which is a bit rude. The best, most polite thing to say when someone sneezes is “gesundheit.”
