“I’m glad you’re not like most people.”

These are words I said to my boyfriend today. And it really is true. And unfortunate, that I had to go on a date with an absurd number of men to find this one.

Men, do better. I’m talking about the internalized sexist and objectification of people. These are inherent traits in people in this society. This can be undone by educating yourselves. Listen to feminist podcasts. Read statistics. Refuse to be blinded by the patriarchy.
