Heartbreak

After you break up with your person, it can feel like the whole world is ending. For your person. And for you, since you’re so empathetic.

I never meant to hurt him this badly. I just wanted to hang out and be his friend. At times maybe more. I always planned to break up with him eventually, so I should have just done it long ago. I shouldn’t have stayed with him for years because it was convenient. And now look. More pain all around.

And the tears don’t stop.
