The wage gap

The personality trait of agreeableness is problematic when negotiating higher wages. But society socializes women to have higher agreeableness personality traits. Then that same society encourages them participate in a labor force where agreeableness is a hindrance, thus resulting in the wage gap.

And we practically have no choice but to eat up this garbage they feed us that reinforces gender norms because its shoved in our faces every time we step out in public or turn on a tv or computer or radio. Its disgusting and it is changing, but ever so slowly. We need to teach girls to be assertive and to advocate for themselves.
