This is what I learned in my Yale class. Savoring is when you step outside of an experience to review and appreciate it. Negative visualization is when you think about what it might have been if you didn’t have it. Gratitude is being thankful, showing appreciation for what one has. You should split up doing the things you enjoy in life, because, if done all at once, your happiness decreases slowly but steadily throughout the entire experience. But, if you take a break, your happiness will go down but then when you start again it will pop back up to higher than it was before you took the break.
